When scaling your application with Post for Me, managing your API usage and subscription tiers should be seamless. We designed our billing and upgrade process to prioritize your product's uptime, ensuring your social media integrations never fail due to hitting a plan limit.
Here is a breakdown of how our pricing limits and automatic upgrade process work.
Post Volume and Uptime
Definition: Our base subscription plans start at $10/month, which includes an allowance of 1,000 posts per month, scaling up through various pricing tiers based on your monthly post volume.
How it works
As your users connect accounts and schedule content, every successful or attempted post processed through our API counts toward this monthly limit.
The User Experience: We will never throttle your posts or shut down your API access if you exceed your monthly usage limit. Your application and your end-users will continue to experience uninterrupted scheduling and posting capabilities even if you surpass your tier's threshold.
The Upgrade Workflow
Definition: The upgrade process is a communication-first approach handled over a two-month overage period.
How it works
If you go over the 1,000 post limit in a given month, we will send you an email notification alerting you of the overage and respectfully asking you to manually upgrade your plan to accommodate your growth.
Requirements: If you exceed your post limit again in the following consecutive month, we will automatically schedule an upgrade to your subscription for the next tier. The month after that, you will officially be charged for the new, higher tier.
The User Experience: This entire process is communicated transparently via email. This gives your team ample time to manually adjust your subscription, review your API usage, or prepare for the automated upgrade without any surprises on your billing statement.
